Seats and billing

The Organization plan is billed to the owner, once, for the whole team. The price depends on how many administrator seats you choose. Prices are on Plans. Only the owner can change the plan or the billing details.

How seats are counted

Tiers include 5, 10, 20, or 30 seats. Everyone in the organization takes one, whatever their role and including the owner. A pending invitation takes one too, until it is accepted or cancelled.

Change the number of seats

  1. Open Organization and scroll to Plan. Only the owner sees this section.
  2. Click the tier you want.
  3. Check the new price in the confirmation, then confirm.

Prices are shown for how you already pay. A yearly plan stays yearly.
  • The change is prorated. Moving up charges the difference for the rest of the current period. Moving down credits it.
  • Monthly plans stay monthly and yearly plans stay yearly.
  • You cannot move to a tier smaller than the seats in use. Cancel invitations or remove people first. The tier shows how many seats are in use.
  • Nobody is added or removed by a tier change.

Upgrade from Pro

  1. Open Settings and go to SignupKit plan.
  2. Click See plans.
  3. Choose the Organization plan and the number of seats.
  4. Confirm the upgrade.

Your Pro subscription becomes the Organization plan. It is not a second subscription, so you are never billed for both. You are charged the difference for the rest of the current period, and your organization is ready straight away. If the card is declined, nothing changes and you are sent to a page to complete the payment.

Invoices, card, and cancelling

The owner opens Settings, then SignupKit plan, and clicks Manage plan. That page has invoices and receipts, the card on file, and cancellation. A cancelled plan keeps working until the end of the period you have paid for.

Other people in the organization do not see billing for the organization and are never charged for it. Their own personal plan, if they have one, is separate.

If the plan ends

When an Organization plan runs out, its sheets become read-only for editing. Nothing is deleted:

  • Public sign-up pages stay up, and people can keep signing up, up to the free plan’s limit of 50 per sheet.
  • Every sign-up stays visible and can still be exported.
  • Renewing the plan unlocks editing again straight away.
